Bida and a US venture capital firm will work together to attract FDI


The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (Bida) has partnered with US venture capital firm Anchorless Bangladesh to attract and facilitate targeted global investment and jointly promote investment opportunities in Bangladesh and abroad.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard during a program at Bida Head Office in Agargaon of Dhaka yesterday.

The MoU includes provisions to attract high-value technologies and high-impact investments in key priority sectors and to provide support and advice related to FDI and equity investments.

“Bida is strongly focused on building strategic partnerships that will enable us to access investor communities in our target markets for foreign direct investment and equity investments,” said Bida Executive Chairman Md Sirazul. Islam.

“Bida and Anchorless Bangladesh will work together to design targeted, personalized and therefore more effective investments.”
