Joint venture seeks to complement Brunei’s industrial growth

Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd and Kent PLC have signed an agreement to form a joint venture in Brunei Darussalam.

Chairman and Managing Director Shaikh Khalid Shaikh Haji Ahmad and Executive Vice President of Asia-Pacific Operation Joseph McCormick, who represented Kent PLC, signed on behalf of Serikandi. The signing ceremony took place at Serikandi’s head office.

Using Serikandi’s local knowledge, assets and infrastructure and Kent’s global expertise, the company aims to form an unrivaled Brunei-based project services company – “Global Expertise, Delivered Locally” offering strong project management Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPCM) based in Brunei competent organization.

Serikandi CEO Revi Bhaskaran said, “This signing ceremony is the culmination of nine months of building a strong relationship based on aligned goals and core values. This joint venture will complement industry growth and create more skills development opportunities in Brunei Darussalam.
