The ship has left San Antonio, Chileon November 7, 2022and descended the coast of Chilerewarding guests with breathtaking beauty in canals, straits, sounds, fjords and glaciers, before reaching the frozen continent.

In Antarctic, the ship offered hikes and zodiac rides, all led by a dedicated 26-member expedition team made up of wildlife experts, scientists, historians and naturalists. Guests also had the opportunity to participate in expedition experiences such as kayaking where expedition guides led guests to paddle through the beautiful landscape, or scuba diving Antarctic by Seabourn’s luxurious expedition submarines where guests’ eyes were opened to the underwater wonders.

A first year full of exploration

Between November 2022 and February 2023, Seabourn Company will make trips of 11 to 22 days to Antarctic, South Georgia and the falkland islands which will offer close encounters with wilderness and wildlife, including floating icebergs, waddling colonies of penguins and feisty fur seals, as well as visits to research stations that have anchor points on the continent. The voyages will include several daily operations using the Zodiacs for landings and cruising along the Antarctic Peninsula. Optional excursions will also be available, such as kayaking and the ship’s submarines, allowing guests to explore the vast frontier below sea level.

In March and April 2023, Seabourn Company will undertake a series of expedition trips of seven to 12 days in Brazil and the Amazon, visiting many colorful colonial towns on the coast of Brazil and navigate in the heart of South America through one of the largest rivers in the world.

From May 2023Seabourn Venture will offer two new routes encompassing the British Isles and Iceland. The ship will depart from Greenwich (London), UK on May 12, 2023 for a 12-day expedition allowing for epic landscape, wildlife and bird watching throughout Ireland including the Orkney Islands in North of Scotland before ending in Edinburgh, Scotland on May 24. From there, the ship will continue its journey north for 11 days with stops Scotland before heading to the Land of Fire and Ice and ending up in Reykjavik, Iceland on June 4, 2023.

Between June and August 2023Seabourn Venture will then explore the Arctic with a series of 14 and 15 day voyages to Greenland and Iceland.
