SUEZ and Schneider Electric join forces to create a joint venture to strengthen their major role in the development of innovative digital solutions in the field of water

SUEZ and Schneider-Electric announce the creation of a digital water leader to develop and market a joint offer of innovative digital solutions for water cycle management. This joint venture will support municipal water operators as well as industrial players in accelerating their digital transformations, by providing them with a unique range of software solutions for the planning, operation, maintenance and optimization of water treatment infrastructure.

This joint venture, which will be created once all the authorizations have been obtained from the competent competition authorities, will rely on SUEZ’s expertise in water and its experience in digital solutions, as well as on the know-how of Schneider-Electric in the development of software providing digital water, energy and automation management solutions.

The offer of this new entity specializing in software solutions dedicated to digital water will allow customers to access an application software database to optimize installations and networks, and strengthen their performance, resilience and durability: reduction of leaks, optimization of network performance, energy production savings, extension of the life of installations, preservation of natural environments, improvement of the environmental footprint of water networks, etc.
